Fast-track retake
(Sept-Nov)
For students affected by the grading systems surrounding the Covid-19 crisis, we offer a short retake two-month retake course. Starting in early September, this online course will focus heavily on revision and exam practice. Students will receive online lessons and weekly assessments from their tutor to ensure they are on track to attain their desired grade.
Five hours of online learning per week in small groups spread over two lessons.

September - November (perfect for students affected by Covid-19 grading and looking for a quick retake course.)

Short retake
(Jan-June)
If you want to enjoy your gap year or don’t want to get learning right away, our short A-Level retake starts in the second half of the academic year. From January - June, students will be able to learn in small groups online with their tutor. You will receive monthly reports and mock exam support.
Four hours of online learning per week in small groups spread over two lessons.
Monthly assessments.
A weekly personalized hour with your tutor.
Free attendance to the Tutor House event series, including personal statement workshop (usually worth £50).

Full retake
(Sept-June)
This course is perfect for students either taking their A-Levels as independent candidates for the first time, or those looking to ensure they get the top grade they deserve. All courses are taught by highly qualified tutors and all of the course content is taught in depth. There are monthly reports and assessments - to help guarantee success.

Who will my tutor be?
Sandra W
Mathematics Tutor
Sandra is a chartered mathematician and an experienced Mathematics teacher and adviser. She has a Mathematics degree and a PGCE in mathematics education from Bristol University and a Masters degree from Bristol University. She is also a mathematics subject expert for The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) which regulates examinations and assessments in England. She has taught across the full secondary age and ability range, including A level and A Level further mathematics. As a result, she understands how to achieve success in Mathematics for all students.
How is the course structured?
Our mathematics A-Level courses are taught by our mathematics highly qualified tutors (many of whom are former teachers) and all teaching takes place online via Google Classrooms.
Students have two 2-hour live classes per week, plus an allotted ‘office hour’ (for short and long retake programmes) which is open to all students to join at the end of the week if they have any additional questions or homework queries. Office hour attendance is optional, but we encourage students to take advantage of this hour to further their independent study.
Teachers set homework and assessments via the Google Classroom portal and will send you homework marks and class updates as you progress. Depending on the course you choose, teachers also provide monthly reports and mock-exam-style assessments to ensure you’re on track to reach your grade.
