I am able to identify their strengths and weaknesses, then will teach the topic that students are most struggling on and will go over any questions. I provide a summary sheet of the topic for them in advance and ask them to explain some concepts to me to see their level of understanding. We will then proceed by doing questions from online resources that I have found over the years, that have worked for me as well as my previous students. I will then take the work in to be marked and set a different sheet of homework for them so I can mark it next week.
