I studied at Culford School and achieved nine GCSE and three A-level grades. For GCSE, I received Maths (A*), Biology (7), Chemistry (7), Physics (7), Physical Education (9) and at A-levels, I received Psychology (A), Physical Education (A*)and Biology (C). Now I study Criminology and Forensic Studies and the University of Portsmouth. I have tutored children in my old school at Culford in afterschool activities with their homework and revision for upcoming tests and exams. I also coach hockey at level 2, which is a form of teaching as you teach children a skill before they have My first lesson will consist of getting to know you and your learning style. The basic structure of my lessons is split into three sections. Firstly introduction activities to your topic, activities that engage the brain. Next is the main part of the sessions, where we would go through the content and then go through questions or a game to embed learning. Finally, to end the session, we would review the session where you tell me how you felt the session went, what I can improve on, what you feel went well and what you still need to work on. I love hockey, competing and coaching. Exercise is good for your mental health, and I love to play hockey; at University, I am on the girls' first team. In my downtime, I love to do some drawing and painting. I am no professional, but it's such a relaxing activity. Singing is another activity I do when I am by myself as it helps me express myself and a chance to belt out my favourite tunes.

I am a 2nd year Medical student and have completed my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I have a huge interest in the sciences and particularly enjoy teaching the subjects to further explore them. I have experience in online tutoring since the COVID pandemic and have gained many skills on how to best teach the subjects in a manner that can be clearly understood by the student via an online platform. I am also very specification centred to help them achieve the best possible results in their exams. I hope this briefly outlines the kind of tutor I am and if you feel I am right for you then it would be my pleasure to teach you :)

Hi! I'm David, a student at the University of Edinburgh. I love reading, cooking, swimming, and playing the piano. I have two years of experience in tutoring, as I spearheaded a volunteering program during my last two years of high school to tutor kids in a wide array of subjects. Therefore, I am trained to tutor in most high school subjects, although I am best at tutoring science subjects (biology, chemistry, and mathematics.) I am always open to new ideas and different methods of teaching in order to provide the best experience for my tutees. I look forward to helping as much as possible, so contact me in order to set up a free trial session, so that we can establish learning goals and design a strategy to achieve them.

I graduated from Physics Education. I have a degree of BSc. I have been tutoring and teaching physics since then. After graduating university I started to teach Physics in an institute which prepares children for national university entrance exams and secondary schools entrance exam. I both taught in the class and tutor during this period. I had students from the age of 12 to 19. That period taught me the needs of students who prepare for the exams. After this institution I worked at three schools which are all IB(International Baccalaureate) schools as IB Physics teacher. At these schools I taught IGCSE topics for pre IB classes as well. I worked as IB coordinator assistant in one of the schools. Since I have started to work at schools I have had students who study for international exams such as SAT, IB. I have also mastered A-Level topics. I have lots of students who study or work all around the world. For example One of my students made me her idol and became a physics teacher. And this year she was accepted to Nanotechnology post graduate program in Germany. I am proud of her. All of my IB students were accepted different universities in Europe and USA with their predicted grades last year. Everyone has different learning style. First 2 or 3 lessons I will discover your learning style. Then I’ll teach you according to your learning style. Some people need details. Some want to learn shortcuts. Others need proof. To conclude I differentiate the lesson according to your needs. I’ll lead you with the help of my experience. I am both genial and patient person. These characteristics are really important while teaching. Because students should feel comforted to ask the things that they do not understand.

Business Owner, Board Member, Tutor My students vary from home schooling to state schools, to grammar and private schools, even international. I have also taught mature learners and skill building. I assist in UCAS, personal statements, CV creation and interview preparation. Collectively creating a broad expertise within the tutoring industry I set up a company training further tutors to deliver the same level of brilliance that I pride myself on. I hold an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and a masters of science from Royal Holloway in Economics. This has allowed me to turn my passion for Economics into a more enriching tutoring deliverance in Economics, Business, Finance and Accounting, and further related subjects. I have undertaken a lot of long term students as well as exam prep last minute crash courses in all A-Level and GCSE subjects and beyond. Furthermore, I often supervise students in their individual work by helping them create a revision schedule which I keep in touch to ensure the student stays on track, check through their work, feedback for improvement and fill gaps I see need attention. Every student requires a different approach to which I adjust, at the core of which I always lead with engagement, effectiveness and efficiency.

Hi! I am a medical student at the University of Nottingham with 4 years of tutoring experience. I am experienced in providing an engaging, interactive and highly educational experience. Being an enthusiastic tutor with an approachable nature who genuinely loves teaching and observing students’ progress first hand, I regularly see students develop confidence and their love for learning. I am familiar with the new specifications for GCSE maths and sciences, having sat the new specification exams myself and know that they are much more rigorous with a lot of new content. I achieved grade 9s in maths and all three sciences and wish to share my knowledge with students in order to aid their progress. Throughout the years I continuously monitored my past students’ learning and progress to identify those who were not achieving their targets and developed strategies such as regularly checking up on those who had not performed well. I do mini tests regularly to ensure I can highlight strengths and weaknesses in specific topics and adapt my lessons to cater towards these weaknesses. I believe confidence is key to your learning and we often learn best when comfortable with having a go and not being afraid to make mistakes, which I ensure my students are comfortable with doing so. Additionally, I have tutored for other online platforms in the past so have experience of both online and in-person teaching. I have an abundant supply of teaching materials for GCSE Mathematics and Sciences for all exam boards, including numerous exam questions, which I regularly use in my lessons. I have learnt numerous strategies of teaching which I make specific to each student's learning style in order to maximise their learning. What I lack in degree qualifications, being relatively young myself, I certainly make up for in possessing the right qualities to achieve the maximum potential of the student. Being determined, patient and possessing an excellent work ethic are the strengths that have helped me through challenging moments throughout my exams and university. I am capable, clear and concise in delivering lessons, proven by great results with students in the past 4 years.

Hello, My name is Emir and I'm a first year undergrad student at King's College London. I graduated from High School with the IB Diploma with a score of 40 out of 45. I took Math HL AA, Chemistry HL and Physics SL and I scored 7 out of each one and I will be more than willing to help anyone in need of exceeding their mock exams, regular exams or the actual IB exam itself. I am also very familiar with the GCSE and A-Level format so I will surely do my best to contribute. I have 2-3 years of experience of tutoring in Turkey (where I'm from) and I believe I provide a different insight towards my students. I believe that as a student, I am more empathetic towards students because I was in their position not too long ago and that's why I can relate to them more than a professional teacher. I understand their stress, their concerns about time management and besides just lecturing, I can also advice and guide them about their social and academic life and how to balance both during exam periods because I have been in their shoes not more than a year ago. That's why I'm open to any questions the students may have, not just about the topic that they are studying; but about how they should study, what they should do in their free time to avoid mental exhaustion etc.

I am a 4th year physics student on course to complete a Master of Physics (MPhys) degree with a First Class mark. Before that, I studied Natural Sciences at High School which included Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Biology. In the past I have tutored everything from secondary school to university students, including one-on-one after-school tutoring and being a leader in my university's Peer Assisted Study Scheme (PASS). My tutor mainly in Physics and Maths but as I am proficient in 5 languages, I can tutor Spanish and French too. Through my previous experiences, I have gained the communication skills necessary to explain difficult topics and the study techniques that actually work to learn properly. My lessons are structured in a way to apply what you have read or learnt as quickly as possible, which is how you actually solidify and consolidate knowledge. We start with understanding the basic concepts, identifying any lagging areas in our understanding. Then we create a list of specific points to focus our studying on, and exercises to address these. As we go through the exercises, we make mistakes and learn from them, iterating until our knowledge is rock-solid. Finally, we reflect on our learning; what techniques worked for me? what could we have done better? how long did each task take? This framework works for any subject and will not only make you learn in the short term, but also become a better learner for life! In my free time I love playing sports like football, tennis and American football. I also enjoy reading about various topics like psychology, philosophy, economics and science to expand my general knowledge and vocabulary. Also, I am a very sociable person who loves to spend time with my friends and family, and make new connections wherever I go. My aim is to make studying both fun and effective, and I will tailor my tutoring style to your exact needs so that you can become the best version of yourself!
