Two Year A Level Course Summary

A Private Tuition Approach To A-Levels

One of our core values at Tutor House is ensuring not just the quality of teaching but also the level of attention our students receive. It’s one of the reasons we keep our average class size is just 5 students. It allows for the teacher to concentrate on each student’s needs and helps to create a collaborative learning environment.

With a Tutor House Two Year A level course all students have a mentor and confidence coach who will improve their confidence and help them grow. It's part of our educational ethos to ensure that each student grows as well as learns which crucially helps at exam time, University and beyond student life.

A-Level Subjects On Our Two Year A-Level Courses

There are a range of subjects available with a Tutor House Two Year A Level Course. A student can choose up to 3, with an optional 4th, of the subjects we teach and we will build a tailored course around it.

How Our Two Year A Level Courses Work

We start the process with each new student in the same way. Beginning with an interview so we can get to know each student. We follow this with an A level consultation where one of our educational experts will advise each student on which A Levels are right for them. It’s an important part of the process for us, guiding students through the selection of the right A-level subjects based on their interests, prior education and, crucially, what they’re wanting to study at University.

Our Two Year Courses run during the regular school year, covering a 60 week period between September and June each year consisting of 6 hours of teaching per subject per week. This course caters to those on a less time sensitive basis than our one-year intensive courses - it allows for a longer and deeper study of the syllabus which can benefit students that are looking for a different approach to A-levels.

Part of this rigorous tuition schedule involves weekly tests, monthly exams and termly reports in order to track a student’s progress over the intensive A-level course. It’s also possible for Parents to contact teachers in order to discuss their child’s progress throughout the course. All of our intensive A level courses do end of year exams.

Who Are We?

Tutor House has been up and running since 2012, it was founded by former teachers with the idea that a high quality of private tuition should be easier to access and more trustworthy without compromising on the tuition provided. Drawing on their experience as teachers our team built a tutoring platform that puts the students and their education first.

We’ve been running our A-Level courses since 2013 by providing bespoke one to one tuition to our students for their A levels. Our students have gone on to places at top Universities like UCL, Cambridge and Oxford to name just a few. The focussed and personalised tuition they received from Tutor House was reflected in their exam results.

The success of these courses has allowed us to expand them into our new Denmark Street Campus. It allows us to offer our courses to a wider range of students while still maintaining the key elements of our one to one tuition that made it so successful for our students.
