I studied Spanish up to AS-Level, receiving an A grade, and lived in Spain for 9 months post university working as an English teacher. My positive and energetic character allowed me to build up a rapport with the children that I minded in their own homes, out and about and on their family holidays abroad. I strove to be an outstanding and trusted role model, whilst allowing them to have fun. At university I was a peer mentor to architecture students in the year below me. My role was to support their mental wellbeing as they adapted to university life and the intense architecture degree.
