I am a youthful, energetic and charismatic, fully-qualified English teacher with an insatiable passion for educating. I have a wealth of experience from a diverse range of pupils of all abilities and adore teaching pupils of all ages and dispositions. I have 3 years experience working in High schools and in Primary schools in England, since completing the highly prestigious Teach First programme and qualifying with a PGCE from Sheffield Hallam University. I would describe myself as an extremely professional yet fun individual who highly engages pupils with a hands-on, interactive and enjoyable teaching style, in which I hope I can foster the same love of education from the pupils as I have myself, whilst pushing them to reach their ceiling potential. Furthermore, I believe that on top of the responsibility to bestow top-class knowledge on pupils, educators must be role-models who imbue pupils with appropriate life skills such as respect, humility, confidence and leadership. Whilst I am currently based in Nice, I am enormously passionate about travelling and relish the opportunity to work professionally in new and exciting parts of the world. I am also open to tutoring online.
I have a BA in English & Modern Languages from Oxford University and I am TEFL qualified with 2 years of teaching experience. I speak 4 European languages, and am bilingual speaker in English and Italian and am therefore passionate about teaching all things languages and literature! In Madrid in 2015 I obtained a TEFL qualification and I tutored English privately in both private and corporate settings. Clients ranged from young professionals to young children. I have extensive experience in meeting the needs of clients of all ages and so I would love to help out with any of your tutoring needs. Through my English Literature and Spanish degree at Oxford I developed key analytical and writing skills, essential to any literary and linguistic qualification. In my spare time I undertook editorial roles for The Oxford Student Newspaper, as well as working for a summer as a theatre critic for Edfringe.com. Therefore I am also interested and have experience in the more creative and journalistic aspects of writing. More recently, I have just completed the GDL (Law Conversion Course) and the Bar Professional Training Course and I am soon to embark on a career at the English Bar. I would be very happy to assist those who would like some help with University and Oxbridge applications and legal career advice. When I am not working you will find me watching foreign language films and planning my next adventure abroad.
