I am studying for a degree in Natural Sciences (majoring in pharmacology and minoring in biochemistry) and I am currently on placement working in a laboratory doing cancer research. At A-level I studied Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Further Maths and completed an EPQ (and achieved A*AABA). I love maths and science and I am passionate about sharing that love with my tutees. I have been a tutor now for 3 years and have tutored at a range of levels, both E-C grade and B-A grade at GCSE, also primary level and KS3 too. My aim is to make my tutees enjoy the subject, because it is then that their understanding takes off. For maths, I find that often the methods that teachers use in classes can be confusing for some students, and I come equipped with multiple methods for many of the commonly misunderstood topics. For science I aim to relate it all to daily life, and I think that promotes a better understanding of the topic, rather than just teaching for an exam. I enjoy languages as I like how logical it is; I enjoy the rules and think that being able to speak another language is an invaluable skill to have.
