I am an art historian who loves teaching people of all ages and abilities. I have worked as a researcher and educator in international art galleries in Mayfair and Zurich, and have taught BA students at the University of Zurich. Currently based in London, I am working towards my PhD in History of Art at the University of Zurich and KU Linz, where I have also taught. As well as expertise is in Asian and Western art since 1960, I have a very broad and robust knowledge of all periods of History of Art as taught in the United Kingdom. For A Level students, I am familiar with the AQA syllabus and find it an excellent teaching guide. At present in my early 50s. I began teaching, in a London tutorial college, straight after coming down from Oxford. Hi! My name's Halima and I'm currently a final year History and History of Art student at the University of Birmingham. I love all periods and all types of history but I particularly specialise in Modern and Contemporary History as this will be the focus of my upcoming Masters.
