Through my 2-year journey during International Baccalaureate (IB), I learnt that the most crucial element in success is the bond between a student and the teacher. Although I had some "bad" teachers in the past, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my teachers in Bromsgrove School. For the last 4 years, I have been creating a bond between me and my tutees which lasts to this day. As my IB journey was not too long ago, I can relate with all problems you are facing. Therefore, I can assure you, our lessons together will overcome any problems in Maths, Physics and Economics whether it is A Levels or IB.

Machine Learning Engineer graduated from UCL. I tutor Python, Java, Ruby, C++, Andriod, iOS, Tensorflow, logic and computational complexity. I have a first-class MEng degree from UCL in Mathematics and Computer Science. I am working full-time as a Machine Learning Engineer at a tech startup in London. I have 8 years of tutoring experience and enjoy tutoring as an extra-curricular activity. In late 2010, I came to the UK where I joined the school halfway through Year Eleven. Although the GCSEs were taught in English, I was able to overcome the language barrier to achieve an A in GCSE Mathematics and an A in GCSE Additional Science within half a year. During the next two years, I did my A-Levels and I achieved A*AAAA. I was the first person in my school`s history to do all 18 A-Level Maths modules. I was awarded a level 3 Key Skills award in Improving Own Learning and Performance since I improved my English language skills. I started tutoring in Jan 2014, shortly after starting university, and started working with startups after my first year. I applied to an app developer position at a tech start-up. When I went to the interview, I did not know anything about backend development and databases apart from the a small Andriod app that I developed at university, but they have given me a learning task to do in a short deadline (one week), and I have done it. then they have asked me to learn about django and iOS development and I have quickly done that, therefore they have hired me. I worked with backend development with Django and front end development with iOS, alongside with tutoring and attending university during my second year. After that, I worked with some C code that will be deployed to the sun in the next few years, before joining my second startup in my third year at university. In this startup, I was appointed as a CTO and was developing the backend with Ruby and the front end iOS app with Swift. As the startup didn`t succeed, the source code is available on my Github repository. This was also alongside tutoring and university work. Then to the third startup with I joined after my third year at university, and discovered that machine learning is awesome. I did my masters project using Python and tensorflow, and got a first on the project. I have 8 years of tutoring experience, including 4 years of private undergraduate computer science tutoring. I tutored for about 1000 hours online between April 2020 and April 2021 which is double what I used to do before 2020. Some of my students in the last 4 years were: 7 Birkbeck MSc Information technology students, I helped them learning Python. 6 UCL students, I helped one of them in Logic and Computational Complexity. 5 Kings MSc Data Science students, I helped them with Python, AI and Machine Learning 5 Westminster students, I helped them in learning Java. 3 Queen Mary students, I helped them with machine learning 3 Imperial Students, I helped them with Algorithm and Data structures. 1 Sussex student, I helped him with Natural Language Processing in Python 5 Makers student, I helped them with learning Ruby I helped 2 students with Android development I helped 2 young kids learning to code with Swift, and one with iOS development I helped 2 students with creating websites with Python and Django I helped many students with basic machine learning with Python and Scikit learn, including 2 PhD students and 8 working professionals I helped 8 students with advanced machine learning with Python and Tensorflow I helped many other students learning Python, Java, Ruby, and C++ I helped 3 students with Concurrency in Java, and 5 students with functional programming in Haskell, and logic programming in Prolong I helped a Cambridge IGSCE Computer science student getting an A, and an A Level Computer Science student getting a B Some of my students in previous years: I also helped a student achieving a B in her GSCE Maths in year 5, and helped her to achieve excellent results in her 11+ exams and get full scholarship offers from 3 prestigious London schools. I also tutored 3 brothers for 3.5 years, and helped them with GSCE and A-Level Maths and Further Maths. They all achieved A in A-Level maths. I look forward to share my experience with other people, and help them achieve the same achievements that I did.

I would like to help as many students as possible to overcome their fear of a subject and to build their confidence in their capabilities. My qualifications: - Masters Degree in Computer Science (which helped me to deepen my knowledge of Mathematical logistics and also improved my way of explaining different problems.) -Maths GCSE grade 9 -Currently: Three months of experience in a PGCE course for teachers in the UK and it deepened my skills and knowledge of how to provide outstanding lessons to my students. -Lots of experience on both face-to-face sessions as well as online tutoring on various other websites (with many 4 and 5-star reviews) -Duolingo English qualification (IELTS level 7 equivalent). I have started doing private tutoring here in the UK a number of years ago in order to share my knowledge with students as well as helping them to become confident with themselves and their capabilities. In my opinion, showing a student that they are able to solve a problem or understand something that they first thought out of reach can really improve their confidence and this is often the key to them achieving a good grade at school. Additionally, the lack of understanding from the previous years can prevent a student from learning during a lesson and make him or her feel demotivated by the subject. I believe I can manage to fix this by providing them with the right support and most importantly, going back to gaps in their knowledge that occurred in previous years. It is necessary for them to have a good foundation in their subject to help them move forward and be able to grasp more complex ideas. Furthermore, I already taught many university and mature students as well and I am always happy to modify my teaching methods to fit the age of my student. During my lessons, I aim to work at the pace of the students as it can help them not to be under pressure. I can give them all the support they need with an ear to listen to their worries and I provide lots of original exercises. Finally, the best way to learn is with practice. I, therefore, engage my students during the lesson to think about the concept they are about to learn as it will help them to feel like they are achieving something by themselves rather than being given the solution too easily. If you have any questions regarding my past or my teaching methods, please send me a message and it will be my pleasure to answer you. I wish you all the best during your learning journey!

Hi, I am Anthony and I am in my final year studying Financial Mathematics and Statistics at LSE with the intention to pursue this into a Master's. I self-taught both A-Level Maths and Further Maths in years 11 and 12 respectively. Having done plenty of papers, I know where all the common mistakes and tricks are in exam questions therefore I can prepare you beforehand to help you avoid making mistakes. Pursuing a maths and statistics degree has also helped me develop a stronger understanding of the subject, therefore, allowing me to provide deeper insight into problems rather than handing you formulas that only works conditionally. This is how I differ from other tutors, I will teach you how and why certain methods work and under what conditions do specific methods work better. I have also finished an internship within Finance and experienced many interviews when applying. Therefore, I can also offer advice regarding personal statements, psychometric tests, interviews, CVs and Cover Letters.

I am a very enthusiastic, young, vibrant and confident academic. I make it a priority improving myself everyday, and use every opportunity to motivate those around me to do the same. I pride myself in being very organised, attentive to detail and patient. I have taught for over four years in all subjects and all ages up to A-level, and Economic and business related subjects up to degree level. Further I have taught all types of students with different level abilities and preferences when it comes to teaching styles, all of which I accommodate. Each lesson will be designed to bring out the best in the student, and created to help them reach their goals. I make sure that the student's knowledge is up to date, I assist with current school work that they struggle with, and start to introduce future topics which are more challenging to get them ahead. I use Zoom through which I use a online whiteboard to help illustrate certain topics, take the student through the curriculum, and most importantly build interest in the topic in a real life sense so that they understand the topic rather than just memorising information. Lastly, I prepare the student for exams by practising past questions and giving exam tips. Most importantly I ensure all of my students feel comfortable and enjoy the lessons, through which they are able to engage better which ultimately guarantees more improvements, effective progress and better results! Aside from work I'm very ambitious, spontaneous and adventurous, always looking to motivate those around me, inclusive of my students. Having had been project manager for all university group work and the Course Representative for not only my course class, I like to encourage my students with leadership skills and assist them to improve social skills.

I am an experienced and qualified teacher and tutor and have ample experience working with children of all primary ages and abilities. My specialism is in science however I am also extremely knowledgeable in the whole primary curriculum of Key Stage 1 and 2 and have a lot of skills around SATS and 11+ preparation in literacy, numeracy and verbal/non verbal reasoning. Overcoming dyslexia to achieve a teaching degree myself has aided me in having great success with inspiring and supporting young people with special educational needs such as ADHD, ASD, dyslexia and dyspraxia. I believe that as an educator, my job is to work with children's innate playfulness and curiosity, supporting their desire and capacity to learn. Their experience of learning at primary age will often shape their attitude to learning in the future so it is important to encourage their study skills and mindset from an early age. Love, kindness and encouragement are my personal values which I believe I am able to pass on through my teaching both in the classroom and in 1-1 situations. During my career I have worked both in the private and state sector. A student once told me "Since you gave me confidence I have used it to achieve in all my subjects and outside of school".

I am a trained professional physicist, having studied at both undergraduate and graduate levels at two of the worlds leading universities, and currently working as a radiotherapy physicist in an NHS hospital cancer treatment centre. I have 6 years experience in tutoring in physics and mathematics one-to-one and in small groups, with students of primary school age through to university undergraduates. I also have one year of experience working as a TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) instructor to Japanese students. As a professional physicist I am highly skilled and knowledgeable not only in physics, but also mathematics, statistics, computer programming and IT systems. I take a keen interest in all areas of science, and can confidently tutor in all of these subjects up to A-level. I have always been fascinated by science, and as a high school student was initially interested in studying medicine. Unfortunately, I found myself feeling faint at the sight of blood and guts, and doubts as to my suitability for the profession began to creep into my mind. I had an amazing physics teacher at A-level, who inspired me to instead pursue physics at university. I excelled in my undergraduate studies and then progressed on to PhD level overseas, where I undertook fundamental research in experimental nuclear physics. This involved smashing atoms together using a particle accelerator in order to understand the properties of nuclear matter, reactions such as nuclear fusion and nuclear fission, as well as to synthesise new 'superheavy' chemical elements that do not exist in nature! Funnily enough, my experience working with particle accelerators, electronics, and radiation detector technology lends itself very handily to working in the healthcare sector, both in the treatment of cancer using high energy X-rays, and in various diagnostic imaging techniques using both ionising and non-ionising radiation. So I have now come more or less full circle from my high school ambitions to work in medicine, except now I get to avoid the blood and guts! During my GCSE years, in fact I really didn't enjoy physics due to poor teaching at school, and strongly considered not taking the subject at A-level- I only did so reluctantly in the belief that it would aid my application for medicine. Without the excellent teaching that was provided by my A-level teacher, I am sure I would have followed a very different and perhaps less satisfying path. When I tell people I am a physicist, I often receive replies of 'Oh wow! You must be so smart!' Many people struggle with physics and maths in school, and are highly intimidated by the subject. What if I told you that physics, based upon the fundamental rules of nature, is in fact the easiest subject in science? It is my goal as a tutor to transform their perception of physics from an intimidating subject that must be endured throughout school and then never thought of again, to a way of thinking and a toolbox of skills that will be useful for their future in many aspects of life. In tutoring in my subject I hope that I can instill a curious interest in the fundamental aspects of nature such as my favourite teacher did for me, as well as keeping my own understanding of physical principles and teaching skills sharp for use in my science career.
