What can I do with a degree in Italian?
A degree in Italian, as well as other modern languages, can lead you into a variety of career paths. You might want to employ your language skills as a translator for a business, in politics or human rights law. You could also work as part of an international company, for example as a buyer for a fashion or furniture retailer. Many Italian and modern languages graduates go into teaching or take up a Masters and PhD to pursue academia further.

Most modern languages degrees require students to study a combination of two, sometimes three, languages. Spanish and Italian is a common joint honours because of the similarities between the subjects, but of course you can take Italian and German, French and Italian, or another combination!
