I have a wealth of experience in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Finance and Accounting, and Musical Theory. I am able to tutor in all of these areas to a high level, having studied all of them myself to a high level (having gained the associated qualifications in each instance). As mentioned above, I am very enthusiastic about all of these subjects, whilst being very patient, with the ability to break concepts down as needed. I am able to tutor for school entrance exams also (I have personally experienced the 7+ and 11+ exams, and I am very aware of the current attainment levels required by the country’s top schools).

I am a Cambridge Certified Professional Educator and an Academic Coach. Since 1999, I have been tutoring overseas, Math and multiple science subjects, to pre-college, undergraduate and University students. My experience includes MYP-IB-IGCSE-GCSE-O & A Levels, American and British and other international streams. I adapt the blended learning style, where difficult concepts are combined with animations, videos, images, visual tools and available online resources. Before starting a regular lesson, I motivate my students by first presenting a practical scenario and then discuss problems and their possible solutions.

I am in the third year of my PhD in Mathematical Logic. I have experience teaching mathematics up to advanced undergraduate level. Thinking about mathematics and how best to teach mathematics is one of my passions and I am excited to develop it further through tutoring. Before starting my PhD I completed an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Philosophy as well as a masters degree in Pure Mathematics and Mathematical logic, receiving first class in both. Prior to those I took A level Maths and Further Maths, receiving A* in both. My aim with tutoring is always to go beyond teaching the particulars of this or that exam and develop in students the ability to break down concepts, clearly communicate ideas, and think about problems in a systematic way.

I give online tuitions or I can teach at my home. I base my approach to tutoring after evaluating what type of learner they are, whether that is auditory, visual, kinaesthetic or an intrapersonal learner. I can tailor my teaching to meet their needs. Additionally, my teaching method involves providing a strong foundation on the topics first, then giving suitable exam material to further the understanding of the student, ensuring that they have the skills needed for the exams. I can go through the exam techniques in detail so they can link back what they have learnt to answer questions to appropriate detail. The website I have been working on will be based on my experience. Tutoring Approach I give online tuitions. I have recently completed my BSc in Mathematics (Imperial College London). I have covered a wide range of fields including dynamics, complex analysis, computing, statistical theory & modelling, topology, and real analysis. Moving forward I am looking into positions and perhaps further study relating to data science and statistics. I have been interested in tutoring for many years having completed volunteering work at my former secondary school while at university. I mainly tutor in GCSE and A level mathematics (all modules and exam boards) however I am familiar with 13+, 11+, IGCSE, IB, and university admissions tests such as MAT and STEP. Studying and taking exams in mathematics for over a decade has given me insight into the teaching of mathematics, particularly when and why students have problems understanding. Tutoring interests me because I have a true passion with maths and sharing my knowledge. Overcoming hurdles when studying maths can be very satisfying and fulfilling, and it will always be my aim to help students unlock their full potential. I am capable of quickly gauging a students level and finding the most useful way of tutoring them.

I am an experienced and passionate mathematician with a university degree in Applied Mathematics. My motivating character and knowledge allowed my students to succeed in maths and improve their grades. Specifically, 75% of my students achieved A grade. I have a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from the University Of Crete, Greece. During my studies I was providing private 1-2-1 math lessons to senior high school students. Also, I have been a laboratory assistant in my department of studies. There, I helped undergraduate students with assignments and I thoroughly explained scientific principles with numerous examples. I provide online or private classes for: Key stages 1-5, GCSEs, A-levels. For more information don't hesitate to get in touch with me! I have taught English to a university student who has dyslexia. Due to his difficulty, he had never spoken any English before because he felt a lot of pressure. However, and in spite of his difficulty he needed to learn English as a foreign language. So, when he found me, he explained to me his problem and I built a learning program based on him. After that, he managed to learn to write and speak and now, his goal is to get the B2 English certification. I have taught Math to a girl who hated and was afraid of this subject. I immediately understood that the child was brilliant and her fear was due to her school teacher (the teacher was old and didn't have too much patience to explain math more thoroughly. In this way, children who had some more questions in order to get the task were left behind)..So apart from her questions we also worked on her emotions. After our lessons (in the end of the summer), the child was able to solve really difficult math exercises and she felt very comfortable and proud of herself. In the next school years, she was one of the best students of her year. Lastly, I had taught 3 young people (as a group) who hated school in general. The kids needed 3 years to finish school when their parents contacted me. The parents were desperate about their children because the kids didn't seem to have any interest at school and sciences. So, I started teaching them Math and Physics. After our first 2 weeks of lessons, I understood that the kids had a great interest in video games so I gave them the idea of becoming video games creators. Then, the kids started studying more and in time they became generally interested in Math, Physics and Computer Sciences. After 3 years of lessons, the trio attended the University. Now. one is a Computer Engineer student, one is an Architect Student and the last one is a Website Development Student. All these happened because the children got a purpose to study for.

Whether you're in university struggling with partial differential equations or you're a parent looking to give your child a boost for their upcoming 11+ exams, I'm willing to provide that extra support. I have tutored several students and peers over the past 6 years and can draw from my experiences dealing with both young children and same age colleagues to provide you with the best assistance. My teaching style is very friendly - I believe most of the time students just need a little bit of a confidence boost that only a patient and caring tutor can provide. Apart from help with homework and studies, I am also open to talking about anything and helping out as much as possible.

I am an award-winning and highly experienced tutor with over 15 years of tutoring and teaching experience, during which period I have made multiple students become University Toppers and World Prize winners. As for my own qualifications, I have a First Class Honours degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Doctorate in Engineering (Expertise: High-fidelity numerical simulations). As an undergraduate student at University, I was ranked number 1 with a cumulative average of 84, for which I was honoured to be the `Top Engineering Graduate of the Year`. I passed my A-levels (examining board: Edexcel) with straight A grades (note: there were no A* grades at the time), and my Mathematics mark in particular was ranked among the top in the world. To date, I`ve also authored multiple high-impact scientific journal publications. At present, I work as a Senior Teaching Associate in Mechatronics Engineering at a leading UK University, where I am widely regarded as the highest-rated academic, and as a private tutor in London. Occasionally, I offer lectures at various other institutions on a variety of subject areas including, but not limited to, Engineering Mathematics, Thermofluids (Thermodynamics and Fluid Dynamics), Heat Transfer, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics, Solid Body Mechanics (Statics and Rigid Body Dynamics), Mechanical Vibrations, Structural Analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics, Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Programmable Systems, Control Systems (Laplace Transform and Z-transform), Power Systems and Analogue Electronics. With regards to tutoring and teaching, I have a proven track record of excellent results, unmatched by any other tutor / teacher / lecturer. In fact, I have made students who were failing their degree studies become University Toppers (references can be provided upon request). As a tutor, I prepare students mostly towards their Bachelors, Masters and PhDs in a variety of academic disciplines (e.g. Mechanical / Aerospace / Automotive / Civil Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Finance etc.). The list of subjects I teach at A-levels and at undergraduate and postgraduate levels are briefly outlined below: A-levels (AS and A2) and IB: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Additional Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics. University level (for undergraduates and postgraduates): Mathematics, Analytical Methods, Mechatronics, Drone/UAV Engineering, Power Engineering and Heat Transfer, Programmable Systems, Solid Body Mechanics (Statics + Dynamics), Internal Combustion Engines, Aerodynamics (for Ground and Airborne Vehicles), Digital Signal Processing, Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics etc. I approach students in many ways, but the route taken varies from one student to another, and from one circumstance to another. However, it generally depends on the student's character, his/her learning abilities, how well he/she understands the different subject areas and any upcoming examinations/assessments. I always break down complex topics to simpler concepts. Students have always complimented me on how I make difficult concepts look so easy. As time progresses, there will a faster rate of teaching with regular homework/classwork given to ensure that what is taught is well understood. As the exams approach it will be a matter of fast-track revision, and working through past-papers in line with mark schemes (whenever possible). I strongly believe that this would increase the student's ability and confidence, and thus lead to better performance in their examinations. In short, good results are guaranteed for students with genuine interest in their studies. RESULTS FOR 2018/19: 100% A*-A Grades. Dissertation/Project students attained 80%+ overall.

My name is Pallav and I would be delighted to help. I am based in Northwood, Middlesex. I am a qualified Accountant and MBA working in London city. I am also a private tutor specialising in entrance exams preparation to top London schools. I coach for entry to 7+, 11+ - exam and interview preparation. I offer help with Singapore and Shanghai maths tutoring for those looking for it . Some of the schools I have tutored for in the last few years are - Eaton, Harrow, Haberdashers ( boys and girls), North London Collegiate( Girls), St Helens, St Paul's, Collets, Henrietta Barnet , City of London, Queen Elizabeth Boys, Watford Grammar schools and Buckinghamshire CEM consortium. Aside of the 11+ entrance exams, I tutor for Math’s and English to GCSE, Economics & Business studies to A levels, Accountancy to Professional exam level. I also help with University personal statements, dissertations, project work, soft skills, interviews preparation , general career advisory. My approach is to first get to understand my tutee's background, interests and what makes them tick. Only when they feel comfortable with me and trust me, will they work with me . In the initial few lessons, I work to find out what the student's weaknesses are and then start to fill gaps in their knowledge by breaking topics down into small understandable steps. The parents start to see improved results but once their confidence with the subject begins to grow they get more from the sessions. I have a huge set of resources to make lessons interesting and for students to work on in their own time. I follow a very structured approach to classes, using the syllabus and some unconventional resources alongside to broaden their knowledge. I am very patient and persistent when explaining topics, it matters to me that students understand and enjoy the subjects. I tutor a number of children on week day evenings and at weekends for entrance exams and can provide you with excellent references. Please feel free to get in touch and allow me to demonstrate how I can help add value. I will equip your child with some good exam tips and techniques to maximise your child’s chances of success. If you are looking for a professional, compassionate, and sincere tutor who can maximize your child's chances of success in their targeted exams, please feel free to get in touch for friendly, objective and impartial advice. Please feel free to get in touch. I would be happy to help. Regards Pallav
