Hello, this is Sem! I am an LLB Graduate from Queen Mary University of London and I have recently finished my LLM in Energy and Natural Resources Law at Queen Mary University of London. I am working in a law firm and doing online tutoring at the same time. I have taught more than 45 students in the past three years, prepared them for exams, helped them with courseworks and enhanced their knowledge. I also taught children, assisted them for learning a new language (both French and Turkish). Thus, I am native in Turkish, fluent in French and English, intermediate in Spanish. I am a very organised, disciplined and patient person. Moreover, I went to a French School from the age of 3 until 8, which is called Lycée Français Pierre Loti d'Istanbul, and I got my French Baccalaureate with Mention Tres Bien (16.2/20). All in all, my main goal is to help, motivate and support students to achieve their best. The most effective way to do this is by making sure that students understand each topic and do not hesitate to ask any questions. Thus, at the end of each session I am summarising what has been covered during the lesson. During the lessons, I am including real-life examples and stories that I have encountered in order to help the student remember and better understand.

Hi, my name is Harris and I'm a private Law degree tutor from Scotland. I graduated with 1st class honours in Scots Law (LLB) from the University of Glasgow and teach a range of legal subjects to students across the country. I specialise in teaching the following subjects: - International Law - EU Law - UK Company Law - UK Public Law (Constitutional and Administrative Law) - Immigration and Asylum Law - All Scottish Law courses (eg, Criminal, Contract, Property etc) - LNAT Essay Preparation I teach both undergraduate and postgraduate students by explaining advanced and complicated legal subjects and breaking them down so that they are easy to understand. Many of my students have managed to secure excellent grades in their work and several students have even achieved full marks in their exams and assignments. Students will often come to me overwhelmed and confused with their coursework and the legal material ahead of them. In the age of mass education, universities are churning out standardised, boring lectures and expecting students to teach themselves. In my lessons, I try and reverse this trend by going over the material so that the student understands it fully. For more information on my teaching style and videos of me delivering my lectures on various legal subjects, you can head over to my Youtube Channel: HM Law. Additionally, you will see that I have published my own introductory online courses (all available for free on my channel): - Introduction to Scots Law - Introduction to International Law - Introduction to EU Law - Law, Goods and International Trade: How Products Travel Across the World Achievements: - 1st Class Honours in Law (LLB) - University Prize for 'Best Student of International Public Law' - University Gold Award for Commitment to international Activities - 2017 School of Law representative

Hello! I am an LLB Law graduate of the University of Exeter. At sixth form, I studied the International Baccalaureate with biology, chemistry and psychology at higher level. I have had over a year of tutoring (informal and formal combined). I became a tutor because I understand the importance of learning to understand rather than learning to remember. I only take on topics that I completely understand so that I can effectively teach these topics to a student. I mainly tutor science subjects especially biology and chemistry. I tutor all three sciences at GCSE level. I also tutor biology and psychology at IB and also A-level. As a law graduate, I can also tutor A-level law. In addition to this, I also have experience with academic mentoring and guidance of students applying to university especially Medicine. I can help with personal statements, university choices, UCAS guidance and even course choices. I recognise that all students are different which means that they have unique requirements. I usually spend most of my first lesson creating what I call a 'student profile'. This includes ascertaining information about the student's course, subjects, topics, learning style and other things that are relevant. This allows me to create a long-term plan for regular lessons and individual lesson plans tailored to the student. I use a range of teaching styles including presentations, quizzes and place an emphasis on interactive learning. As well as tutoring, I am aspiring for a career as a legal professional. My hobbies include nature photography, fashion illustration and perfume making.

Hi! My name is Arj and I'm a lawyer and tutor. I’m excited to help you with your studies. I know what it’s like a week before those all-important exams fretting about whether you’ve fit all of that knowledge in your brain and hoping you will perform well on the day. Trust me, I’ve been there! My strengths as an academic are revision, exam preparation and performance: making sure I do what I need to do to achieve the grades I’m looking for. These are skills that can be learned and I will help you with that. I will help you with exam technique, retaining knowledge and breaking things down into bite-size chunks so that the information is easier to digest. In terms of my background, I went to a grammar school where I got 9 A*s and 3 As in my GCSEs and 4 As at A-level (before they introduced the A* at that stage). I have A-levels in History, Maths, Further Maths and Classics. I then studied law at Oxford. After graduating with a 2:1, I studied, trained and qualified as a lawyer and have been practising law for 6 years in a variety of legal areas which include contract and business law. I've also stood before a judge in court on a few occasions! I like to see myself as friendly, easy to work with, approachable and driven. In my spare time, I like to exercise and read and write history. I have written a book on world history in case anyone is interested! I live in Wimbledon with my partner. Thanks for reading!

I have been teaching students of schools in my neighbourhood and even my university fellows back in my undergraduate; I specialise in Economics and Geography. All my students have always been satisfied and all of them shared similar feedback that I make sure that they understand properly and they can ask me questions as many as they want. One of the reasons I have been chosen over others is my ability to give special treatment and my availability for my students. The results of my students give me great satisfaction and I ensure that I make the money they spent worth it by coming up to the expectations of their parents. I consider myself to have a proper way of teaching which is not only because of my experience but the number of diverse subjects I have been taught and the number of different countries where I have studied. I have attended school in Austria and Pakistan and did my Olevels and Alevels in Pakistan. I am currently doing my Masters from London. I have taught a variety of subjects to different levels of students and most of all I am very friendly in nature and I have never been harsh to any of my students. I believe in teaching strategy as the key not to pressure the student or scold them to do the work

I initially qualified as a barrister in 1986. I decided to re-qualify as a solicitor in 1990 and have worked as a solicitor ever since, covering many areas of civil and criminal law. More recently, I have specialised in criminal law. After obtaining a 2:1 Llb degree in 1985, I finished in the top 10th percentile in the Bar Exams in 1986. I retired as a solicitor in 2021. I prefer to tailor my methods according to the needs of the individual student. Some students require more leadership than others. It is important that the student feels engaged in the learning process since it is the student who will have to go on in between tutorials to study the subject. It is important to encourage the student toward better work and methods of working. I encourage students to discuss with me their difficulties in grasping a particular area of law. It is very satisfying to see a student begin to thrive in an area of law which initially seemed intimidatingly difficult. It is always important to apply the law one has learnt to a variety of potential situations in order fully to understand how the law works in practice. Equally, such exercises are the biggest mark-earners in the exams. Learning to present an argument in a logical, easy-to-follow fashion is very important.

Hello! I'm Sam, a recent first class graduate from the University of Bristol and current Postgraduate Law student at BPP University, London. I have been a tutor for over 3 years now, having taught over 250 lessons across various online platforms, for both the old and new GCSE and A-Level exams, and have received over 45 client reviews, all rated 5*. My style of tutoring is centred around collaboration, retaining knowledge and exam preparation. For my own exams, I was keen to work out the most effective methods for success and I have built up a bank of knowledge of the best ways to go about doing this for my chosen subjects. I would be grateful for the opportunity to now help others in fulfilling their academic potential in increasingly challenging exams, especially within this difficult period. 'Clarity of Communication’, in my view, is vital when tutoring and this is reflected in my style of giving Online Lessons. Teaching will be based around the topics which my student will have chosen prior to the session. This will allow me to best prepare relevant and engaging materials, in advance of the lesson. A tutorial will firstly consist of me gaining an understanding of the areas my student would like to improve upon. No matter the topic or subject, content and concepts will be clearly explained. Further activities will also be used to supplement knowledge of the chosen topic, such as developing counter-arguments to a viewpoint or tackling related past paper questions. Overall, the Online Lesson will be highly tailored to my student's needs. In terms of tracking progress, I will gauge my student's strengths and weaknesses within topic areas, in order to ensure consistent improvement. For example, we might revisit a topic to ensure knowledge is retained overtime, as well as practise applying knowledge to different styles of question, as this is a key requirement for success in numerous exams. Through clear, non-judgemental and friendly Online Lessons, I aim to improve my student's confidence and academic grades, ultimately helping them reach their true potential!

I went to Dartford Grammar School and achieved 11A*s at GCSE, and obtained 43 points at IB. After this I went on to study Jurisprudence (Law) at Keble College, University of Oxford. I have finished my final exams and am set to achieve a strong 2:1. I have also secured a training contract at Allen and Overy. For the last 3 years I have guided and mentored many students through applying to university, helping with writing personal statements as well as preparing for interviews. I give detailed personal statement feedback and also suggest reading and work to build knowledge. I conduct mock interviews in preparation for Oxbridge. Mr primary area of expertise is helping with university applications, but am also able to give revision in Maths (GCSE level), English Literature and Language (GCSE and IB). I can also tutor on certain subjects in your law degree. I will begin any tutoring with a lesson to gauge current understanding and needs. Following this I will give "Big Picture" guidance followed by more specific guidance and goals which will contribute to overall success.

What can I do with a Law degree?

The most common route for Law students is to become a barrister or solicitor. After completing a Law degree, graduates will begin their Law training contracts or training for the bar.
