I usually have a group of 5 or 6 students. In science and maths, we talk through topics that we can go over for the next few weeks, that the students find difficult. I am able to identify their strengths and weaknesses, then will teach the topic that students are most struggling on and will go over any questions. I provide a summary sheet of the topic for them in advance and ask them to explain some concepts to me to see their level of understanding. We will then proceed by doing questions from online resources that I have found over the years, that have worked for me as well as my previous students. I will then take the work in to be marked and set a different sheet of homework for them so I can mark it next week.

I have an innate feature of make learning energetic and bringing about enthusiasm in students so that they continue to harness their learning naturally, without my presence. One main aim of my tutoring position is to employ students with key skills needed to efficiently learn, especially independently. Thus, during crucial tuition periods, more time is spent approaching exam content, such as examination questions and reports and picking upon more complex revision content. However, all content is still taught from basic to the highest of levels, to ensure full understanding of all topics.

Firstly introduction activities to your topic, activities that engage the brain. Next is the main part of the sessions, where we would go through the content and then go through questions or a game to embed learning. Finally, to end the session, we would review the session where you tell me how you felt the session went, what I can improve on, what you feel went well and what you still need to work on.
I love hockey, competing and coaching. Exercise is good for your mental health, and I love to play hockey; at University, I am on the girls' first team. In my downtime, I love to do some drawing and painting. I am no professional, but it's such a relaxing activity. Singing is another activity I do when I am by myself as it helps me express myself and a chance to belt out my favourite tunes.
