Hi, my name is Beth! I am really passionate about science and it was my decision to pursue this at university after studying both Biology and Chemistry at A Level. With regards to my teaching style, I am very organised, keen on good time management and preparation prior to sessions. I try to suggest ways of remembering tricky concepts and then spend the final portion of the session going over exam questions and looking closely at the mark scheme to ensure the student is hitting all the necessary points.
A little bit more about me - I have various hobbies from playing the flute, ballet and having multiple leadership roles at university. I also work with a charity called Global Brigades which works to empower partner communities around the world, particularly through healthcare support.
