Finn's Law is the nickname for the Animal Welfare (Service Animals) Bill. It was enacted when PC David Wardell's police dog (Finn) was stabbed in the pursuit of a criminal. This bill therefore inhibits persons from claiming self-defence when attacked or injured by a service animal.
