Teaching has always been a passion and I am extremely dedicated to my job role. I enjoy all types of teaching and have taught all ages and in all types of environments. Alongside teaching English, maths, and science, etc, I also like to focus on the child’s holistic development which I believe is pivotal. I also do private tutoring online on one to one basis and group sessions. I like to teach my children through joyful interaction which assists them in reaching their full potential and achieving above and beyond their level of expectations. I have seen dramatic improvements from children who started off with very little or no English-speaking skills at all in becoming the highest achievers, furthermore, receiving recognition and awards in their educational institutions. I am very soft-hearted towards the children I teach, nevertheless, this does not mean that they can get away with not completing their studies. I am extremely flexible and can easily adapt quickly to new situations. You will find me highly empathic towards the children and very understanding, regardless of their age. All people big or small should be treated with the utmost respect. I do my best to dedicate my spare time to supporting charity events, group talks, and teaching children.

Studying and completing my GCSE and A-Level's at a grammar school and having tutored other students in the school, allowed me to gain skills such as organisation and multitasking, teaching me how to explain complex ideologies, in science, in a simple and easy manner for students to understand. I have tutored a wide range of age groups, from year 3 to year 11 and having also finished my A-Level qualifications, I will be able to teach AS-Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Over the past year, I have tutored all the Science subjects, English and Maths to all year groups, in a company and tutored privately. I have learnt a few tricks along the way that had worked for me and my students. Teaching is a passion of mine and having had this experience, I would like to broaden my skillset and continue helping students in their studies. Having been there a few years ago, I understand the hardships of each subject and would like to be available for students to depend on for question. Studying Biomedical Science at the University of Reading, I am pleased to say that I am looking forward to tutoring more students over the years. I usually have a group of 5 or 6 students. In science and maths, we talk through topics that we can go over for the next few weeks, that the students find difficult. I am able to identify their strengths and weaknesses, then will teach the topic that students are most struggling on and will go over any questions. I provide a summary sheet of the topic for them in advance and ask them to explain some concepts to me to see their level of understanding. We will then proceed by doing questions from online resources that I have found over the years, that have worked for me as well as my previous students. I will then take the work in to be marked and set a different sheet of homework for them so I can mark it next week.

My name is Will, and I am an environmental practitioner with a distinction in MSc Environmental Impact Assessment and Management from the University of Manchester. Having achieved an A* at GCSE, an A* at A-level and a first-class degree with honours in geography, I firmly believe I am meant to teach the next generation about environmental, geographical and scientific phenomena. I am fuelled by a passion for the natural world and a need to teach the human world about meeting the natural world's basic needs. I studied this set of subjects because there will be a considerable need for environmental knowledge and new practitioners in this field in the future! I have been a part-time online tutor for years now, and I have tutored a range of subjects from geography to English literature. I have also taken part in peer education, where I tutored mathematics. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing my students gain confidence in areas they thought they never would. My personal aim for tutoring is to inspire the next generation to become passionate about the world around us! It all starts with good quality education. I like to teach lecture style for the first few lessons with interactive sections. As lessons move on, I like to work on questions and focus on activities that will enhance students' ability to succeed. I firmly believe tutoring is less about transferring knowledge and more about improving skills that enable success. The skills I teach my students are skills they will likely use throughout the rest of their lives! These skills are sometimes transferable throughout subjects and occasionally specific to topics. Crucially, I will adapt to how each individual student works! As you may tell, I am a tutor who loves the natural world! In my spare time, I enjoy surfing, rock climbing and running! Pretty much anything that connects me with the phenomena I seek to learn about in my education! Here is a little taster for you: Have you ever considered the first rule of Geography? Or even heard of it? Many people actually haven't! But this relatively unknown rule is possibly one of the most comprehensive and inspiring rules I have ever encountered. Here it is: "Everything is related to everything else. But near things are more related than distant things" Now take some time to think about it and we can discuss this in our first session! I look forward to meeting you!

I have tutored more than 30 GCSE, A level and 11+ students all over London, in home and online. This has accumulated to successive years of tuition, with students proudly obtaining fantastic grades. My tutelage has spanned to students from London, Private schools (e.g. Eton), Grammar schools (applicants particularly) and even international students (IGCSE). I study Masters of Pharmaceutics at UCL and have achieved 7 A* GCSE grades. This, complementary to my tutoring experience, means I confidently, and enthusiastically, teach English, Maths and [Triple]Sciences in core exams such as the 11+, SATs, GCSE and A levels. I am exuberant when endeavoring a student to accelerate academically, beyond their "target grades" and I know that parents hold the same view. In conjunction with academic learning, I understand the importance of targeted examination-style practice which really boosts confidence. I will: -Teach the full content required in preparation for the exams or of relevance to the academic year -Ensure examination questions are practiced (normally after each topic) whilst manipulating mark scheme specifications. -Provide learning content+ relevant homework per session. -Provide free after session consultations to discuss the progress of learning. -Undergo regular assessments-for evidence-based grade progression. During lessons, I often ask plenty of open-answer questions, which allows for students to find links between two topics. This prevents tutors from compromising the self-learning of students, which is very important for parents. Timing wise, I am extremely flexible and, indeed, punctual. I have an innate feature of make learning energetic and bringing about enthusiasm in students so that they continue to harness their learning naturally, without my presence. One main aim of my tutoring position is to employ students with key skills needed to efficiently learn, especially independently. Thus, during crucial tuition periods, more time is spent approaching exam content, such as examination questions and reports and picking upon more complex revision content. However, all content is still taught from basic to the highest of levels, to ensure full understanding of all topics. I understand that examinations such as 11+ and GCSE’s are becoming harder, more extensive, year by year. My strong understanding of examination boards such as EDEXCEL, AQA, OCR;WJEC and updated grading systems such as the new 9-1 grades, means that my students have a tutor who holds recent, strong, academic knowledge of the curriculum, extensive experience, convenience and an aptitude to significantly improve your child’s confidence and grades! Just so you know: -I live close to central London: Hence I have great access to all regions of London. -I drive a car to students thus commuting is not an issue -You can ask to contact a parent of a previous student of mine, to get an in-person review. -I have a recent DBS check- so you can be sure of your child’s safety around me. -I also offer careers advice, coursework exemplars, scholarship prep sessions -An initial assessment is undertaken within the first lesson

I am currently studying Biochemistry at University of Oxford having finished schooling at North London Collegiate School where I gained 45/45 in the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. I have had previous experience tutoring IB biology, chemistry, English, maths and economics as well as GCSE French, English, maths, biology and chemistry. I believe in altering my teaching style according to the student and have had experience in tutoring a variety of different academic abilities and ages. I am extremely organised and am happy to go above and beyond in regards to preparation and gathering resources to help the student. My experience in tutoring for IB and GCSE means that I am good at ensuring that all parts of the syllabus are covered and that the student is well informed of what’s expected in the exam. One of my IB students was recently admitted to Tufts University in Massachusetts while other students that I am currently tutoring for SAT are currently applying for numerous highly ranked American Universities.

I hold a PhD degree in Biology. I have about 40 years Teaching Experience of Biology to the Medical, Pharmacy and Biology students. I also acted as Private Biology/Human Biology Tutor for GCSE, A-Level and IB student for about 10 years in UK. Now I restarted Biology as Private Tutor from August 2017, after getting retirement from Saudi Arabia as Professor of Physiology. I have all notes of A-level Biology for AQA and OCR boards. Last year 5 students got A-Grades and One student got B grade. For Degree level students I have all lecture notes for Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology & Histology and can teach other aspects of Biomedical sciences, like Genetic, Nutrition, General Pharmacology and General Biology as well. For 1-1 I ask questions from the students and they analyse their answers. If any Mistake and additional explanation is need, I explain them. Similarly when bring Past-Papers, I prefer that students should solve them by themselves, if any mistake especially the "The Required Technical Wordings" I explain them and advised them to use these words. In class I try to ask questions and wait for the replies of the students and give them Important Notes, especially with Important Technical or scientific words that are mandatory to get marks from the examiners.
