Co-managing Young Enterprise for three years and aiding students in setting up their own businesses has enabled such opportunities, whereby students have been able to appreciate the application of business theory to real-life experiences. On two occasions, the Young Enterprise Teams have entered the ‘London Finals’ whereby they were one of five finalists from 550 teams.
In addition, I have successfully run the Bank of England ‘Target 2.0 Competition’ within my school, achieving ‘Runner’s up’ position on 3 occasions. This has allowed the students to better understand Macroeconomics and the application of it in the UK economy and, the interdependent relationship between the macroeconomic indicators.
