Hello! I'm an experienced tutor of maths, science and Spanish, and I want to help your child achieve their potential and stimulate a positive attitude towards learning. It's as simple as that. In my opinion, the root of successful tuition consists of three factors: the attention the tutor pays to the student's learning methods, the passion the tutor has for the subject and the enjoyment the tutor receives from the act of teaching. My teaching methods hinge on the recognition that every child is unique. There is no "one size fits all" solution to learning, and hence I establish as quickly as possible which of the various techniques works best for my students and then apply the relevant tutoring methods. As well as maximising academic progress, this approach gives you more value for money. I know that a concept fully understood and a method embedded and consolidated through practice will equip your child with the confidence and skills they need to tackle any question or problem successfully. I also know that the key to success is effective study skills and habits. I can show your child how to organise their learning into easy to revise chunks that work for them. This is a skill that will carry them through their whole education. Anyone who knows me well knows my passion to be the application of mathematics in real world situations, to help solve problems and improve lives. This thread runs through many of my endeavours, from my full time job at Transport for London, to a keen interest in architecture, physics and economics, and finally a love of the beautifully logical language of Spanish. So, what makes me qualified to teach maths, science and Spanish? As shown by my qualifications, I hold an A grade in both maths and physics A-Level with AQA and OCR, respectively. This knowledge is put to use daily in my job, where I use data analysis to improve public transport journeys for Londoners. I studied Spanish up to AS-Level, receiving an A grade, and lived in Spain for 9 months post university working as an English teacher. Immersing myself in the language allowed me to learn it from a new, colloquial perspective, broadening my capability. Being the son of a teacher, I've always been close to the profession, and have learnt a lot about the process of teaching and learning through discussion with and observation of my mother. I get a sense of happiness and pride from helping people do things that they couldn't do before, so have always sought out opportunities to teach. In Spain I worked in a primary school, teaching ages 4-12 a range of subjects in the students' non-native English. It was incredibly satisfying to see how far they progressed month to month, and when I left to return to England it was sad to say goodbye; we'd built up quite the relationship. In addition I tutored young adults individually to improve their English. My other relevant experience includes childcare and mentoring. My positive and energetic character allowed me to build up a rapport with the children that I minded in their own homes, out and about and on their family holidays abroad. I strove to be an outstanding and trusted role model, whilst allowing them to have fun. At university I was a peer mentor to architecture students in the year below me. My role was to support their mental wellbeing as they adapted to university life and the intense architecture degree. Despite being a relatively young tutor, my varied experience from over 700 sessions thus far has taught me a diverse range of skills and techniques that lend themselves to successful tutoring. I also think that my age makes me more relatable to students. In many cases I will understand and even remember the emotion behind their frustrations, allowing me to formulate a more considered and effective response. My attention to detail and thoughtful approach will provide your child with a considered tailor-made tutoring package. Meanwhile, my irrepressible passion for my chosen subjects coupled with a knowledge base formed by their intense study will facilitate productive and engaging tutoring. Finally, through my love of teaching I will try to inspire a fascination with learning in your child that will benefit them for the rest of their life. It's as simple as that.

Stop Struggling... Relieve Anxiety... Start Achieving Your Academic Goals! I can help you improve your grades and increase your interest in the subject. I am a full-time tutor. I have been tutoring since 1994, have got 24 years of tutoring experience. This adds to more than 60,000 hours of tutoring. A lot of my students are now also tutors! I offer customized lessons, suitable to each student as per his needs. I provide complete notes + question bank to practice more questions + a lot of past papers practice. I have BSC (Hons), Ph.D. as well as professional qualifications from the University of Cambridge (Applied Corporate Finance) and from Harvard University (Data Science). I teach GCSE, A level, IB, AP, Pre U, and University level - Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Statistics. I have improved thousands of students in the past and have taken up tutoring as my profession. I am a full-time tutor, which means I teach morning to night- seven days a week. I usually start with the current topics that the student is studying in the school and explain to the student that topic and related background knowledge. As I teach one-to-one, my pace is faster than school and we usually finish the topic in one or sometimes two classes. And then we do previous topics and I explain doubts on those topics. I usually do not teach students that they already know, instead, start topic-wise past papers of the topics students feel he or she knows well. I explain to students how to write the answer to the questions asked,... not what they know... in a very concise and complete manner and relate the answers to the mark schemes of the past papers... and there is a lot of similar things that I explain... Following is the list of a few of the schools/colleges and universities, whose students I have taught. Eton College St. Paul`s School Charterhouse School Concord College Wetherby Senior School Harrow College Cardiff Sixth form College Chelsea Independent School Aiglon College Gems World Academy Wellington International School Raffles World Academy Jumeirah College London Business School LSE Birkbeck London Southbank Kings College Queen Mary University of Manchester City Business School London Middlesex University University of Leeds The University of Wollongong in Dubai University of Toronto University of British Columbia UCL The University of Leeds... and many more

I am an experienced tutor with 10 years of tutoring experience, and I am also a qualified teacher. I have taught maths, chemistry, and physics to A-level and biology up to GCSE. I also tutor iGCSE, I.B, and Pre-U exams for all those mentioned subjects. For the past 4 years, I have run retake courses at A-level, improving student's grades, and providing one-on-one online lessons focussed on matching the students’ specific academic requirements to help them reach their full potential. This has resulted in students improving their grades from D’s and C’s to A’s/A*s. I studied for my PGCE at UCL with a specialism in Physics and Maths and I taught in both the private and state education sectors before becoming a full-time tutor. I am a patient teacher who has worked with children of varying abilities with the objective of giving them the confidence to apply themselves to subjects that they may have found difficult in the past. I have a friendly, understanding disposition which puts the student at ease and helps to make their lessons something to look forward to rather than a chore. I am available during weekday evenings during term time and have some limited slots within the day. During the holidays I work weekdays.

I graduated from Physics Education. I have a degree of BSc. I have been tutoring and teaching physics since then. After graduating university I started to teach Physics in an institute which prepares children for national university entrance exams and secondary schools entrance exam. I both taught in the class and tutor during this period. I had students from the age of 12 to 19. That period taught me the needs of students who prepare for the exams. After this institution I worked at three schools which are all IB(International Baccalaureate) schools as IB Physics teacher. At these schools I taught IGCSE topics for pre IB classes as well. I worked as IB coordinator assistant in one of the schools. Since I have started to work at schools I have had students who study for international exams such as SAT, IB. I have also mastered A-Level topics. I have lots of students who study or work all around the world. For example One of my students made me her idol and became a physics teacher. And this year she was accepted to Nanotechnology post graduate program in Germany. I am proud of her. All of my IB students were accepted different universities in Europe and USA with their predicted grades last year. Everyone has different learning style. First 2 or 3 lessons I will discover your learning style. Then I’ll teach you according to your learning style. Some people need details. Some want to learn shortcuts. Others need proof. To conclude I differentiate the lesson according to your needs. I’ll lead you with the help of my experience. I am both genial and patient person. These characteristics are really important while teaching. Because students should feel comforted to ask the things that they do not understand.

I am a fourth year Medical student at the University of Nottingham. I am enthusiastic, friendly and really enjoy tutoring. I have over 3 years of experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level students in Science and Maths. Having achieved 4 A* for my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths, I understand the hard work and determination that needs to be poured in to achieve your academic goals. My ability to be concise and logical with my explanations has helped me achieve my GCSE grades: grade 9 in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology along with an A* for Further GCSE Maths. I have also been awarded the titles of: 1. UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge Best in School 2. UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge Best in Year 3. UKMT Intermediate Mathematical Challenge Gold certificate My aim as a tutor is to create a comfortable environment where learning does not seem like a chore and any doubts and concerns are easily discussed and assuaged. In my three years of teaching, I believe I have gathered the experience and patience which will help me provide direction to students, find their weaknesses and collaborate with them to transform these into strengths.

Business Owner, Board Member, Tutor My students vary from home schooling to state schools, to grammar and private schools, even international. I have also taught mature learners and skill building. I assist in UCAS, personal statements, CV creation and interview preparation. Collectively creating a broad expertise within the tutoring industry I set up a company training further tutors to deliver the same level of brilliance that I pride myself on. I hold an undergraduate degree in Business Economics and a masters of science from Royal Holloway in Economics. This has allowed me to turn my passion for Economics into a more enriching tutoring deliverance in Economics, Business, Finance and Accounting, and further related subjects. I am also the producer of Economics for Girls Youtube series. Furthermore, I often supervise students in their individual work by helping them create a revision schedule which I keep in touch to ensure the student stays on track, check through their work, feedback for improvement and fill gaps I see need attention. Every student requires a different approach to which I adjust, at the core of which I always lead with engagement, effectiveness and efficiency.

Hi! I graduated from the University of Warwick with a BSc. in 2024, and from the International Baccalaureate in July of 2021, with 43/45 points and Higher Levels in Mathematics, Physics and Economics. My Standard Level subjects were Psychology, English and French. I have over three years and 1500+ hours of in-person and virtual teaching experience, and have mentored hundreds of students in that time. I am proficient in multiple subjects across their AP, GCSE, A-level, IB and international equivalents. Whenever I mentor someone, I try and take a hands-on approach, pacing the material appropriately and answering questions in the process. I'm proficient in a range of digital teaching tools, and am more than willing to adapt to new ones. I'm also extremely attentive to my learners, and try and tailor my teaching methodologies to their individual requirements. Outside of teaching, I love reading, writing and playing the guitar:)

Hello! I am a current University of Oxford Material Sciences PhD student and have recently graduated from the University of Warwick with First Class Honours in Chemistry. I have helped numerous students go from E to A* at both IGCSE and A Level as a result of one-to-one tutoring. I specialise in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, having over 500 hours of teaching experience in these areas. I am also currently a teaching assistant for the Materials Department at the University of Oxford and aid current professors with tutorials and practicals, teaching Oxford undergraduates. On top of this I also have a large bank of notes from GCSE to degree level with plenty of learning resources, questions, model answers, and mark schemes. When tutoring my students, I first try to prioritise their understanding of concepts from scratch, asking them probing questions to ensure their understanding is water-tight. Next, we go through examples and questions together to build confidence. Then I ask students to do questions under exam-conditions without my help, whilst stating their own thinking process aloud, so I can later help refine the way they approach problems and spot common mistakes in their understanding/method. Lastly, I encourage my students to practice further exam questions independently, in order to ensure their exam technique is consistent with mark schemes and model answers. I also am always happy for students to send me any questions they may have between lessons. DPhil in Material Sciences at the University of Oxford: Current student BSc (Hons) in Chemistry at the University of Warwick: First Class Honours A levels: Mathematics (A*), Chemistry (A), Physics (A) & Further Mathematics (B). IGCSEs: (10A*).

I took part in national science competitions and at the age of 15 got into the Olympics. I continued to study Physics and Maths mostly by myself and i got enrolled at the University of Bucharest Faculty of Physics for a BSc degree. I graduated four years later and then i decided to continue my master degree in London. During my early 20s, I had several different jobs, including tutoring kids at home and online in Maths and Physics. I`ve been gaining experience working with kids that need help to keep up with the school requirements or just had some more questions and no one was able to help them. I even helped them to prepare for national exams so they can their GCSE and Baccalaureate test done. I tend to help the student to understand the idea or the concept first and then move to solving exercises or problems. I have always tried to give the student a clear and exact idea of the subject that we were discussing so that he can continue by himself to learn and adapt to new challenges for this school life.
