An enthusiastic and dedicated tutor set on ensuring that your child reaches the academic goals that he/she has set for themselves. Absolutely in love with Math, Physics and Chemistry. Currently studying for a Masters in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London, one of the most prestigious universities in the world. My approach to tutoring is rather simple; I believe that enthusiasm and hard work are key elements when it comes to achieving academic success. I personally feel that I am able to spark enthusiasm and interest in the subject mater that is being tutored to your child and that this will subsequently lead to your child excelling in said subject. I understand that different people have different learning methods. Having tutored many students over the past 3 years, I can assure you that I am able to adapt to this and that I will tailor the session to the needs of your child. This way, the child will make the most out of the session.Being an ex member of the National Debate Squad for 5 consecutive years, I believe that I am to convey and present content in a way is well received by my audience, or in this case, the tutee. I am able to tutor Maths, Physics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry in multiple exam boards including, OCR, CIE, Edexcel and AQA. I am currently based in South Kensington and am willing to travel to provide in-home tuition as well as online sessions.

My name is Frederick and I graduated from Imperial College London with a degree in Chemistry with molecular physics. I've also completed a PhD in computational physics (also at Imperial college). I'm currently a science teacher in an West London School. I have over 1500 hours of tutoring experience (tutoring physics, maths, further maths, chemistry and biology, at all academic levels). In addition, I also have over 1300 hours of mentoring experience. From 2013 to 2015 I was a tutor/rising leader for a charity leadership programme called Team-Up. During my time there I tutored GCSE and A level chemistry, physics, maths, and biology to disadvantaged (but very bright) students. In my spare time, I am also a tutor/ambassador for a programme called Spectroscopy in a Suitcase (SIAS). For SIAS, I taught A level students how to use IR and NMR machines (by using SIAS's portable NMR and IR machines that we take to school). We also teach them the theories behind IR and NMR spectroscopy. I am also a mentor for STEM OUTREACH at Imperial College London - I mentor physics, chemistry, biology, chemistry to disadvantaged (but bright) 14-18 year old students. When I was a student at sixth form, I was forced to self-teach A2 level further mathematics, and A2 additional further mathematics. This experience helped me to discover how to learn new concepts in a more intuitive (and efficient) manner the experience is what helped me to become a great tutor. I make sure that I thoroughly read through the exam specification for each subject that I am tutoring. Due to my extensive knowledge in chemistry, physics, maths, and further maths - I don`t mind which subject we cover on the day. I make sure that I spend the most time covering the topics that the tutee is actually struggling with - which is the most efficient way of helping the student reach their personal goal (and beyond). I have extensive experience in tutoring the following areas: A level Chemistry (OCR A. OCR B, AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas). A level Physics (Eduqas, OCR A, OCR B, AQA A, AQA B, Edexcel) QTS and PGCE Qualified Teacher

I am an experienced tutor with nine years of tutoring experience and just left my position working as secondary school Physics teacher to pursue full time tutoring. I have taught maths, chemistry and physics to A-level and biology up to GCSE. I am available during weekday evenings and weekends. I am a patient teacher who has worked with children of varying abilities with the objective of giving them the confidence to apply themselves to subjects which they may have found difficult in the past. I have a friendly, understanding disposition which puts the student at ease and helps to make their lessons something to look forward to rather than a chore.

I am offering tuition in a variety of subjects at both primary, secondary and GCSE level. I am an undergraduate student who is currently working as a Teaching Assistant in a school so am very up to date with the current syllabuses and learning techniques. Through working as a TA I have experience working with children on a 1:1 basis helping them develop academically and building their confidence in those subjects which they may struggle or need extra support. I will strategically plan each session so that its tailored to the individuals needs and what they aim to get out of them. I usually have a conversation a week prior to starting tuition to see how I can best help and prepare for the sessions. Where necessary I am happy to give out practice questions if these would benefit the student, mark them and give feedback in order to optimise learning.

Hello there! I`m Holly, Astrophysics graduate with a 1st class Masters Degree from The University of Glasgow. I`ve tutoring on a part time basis for around 8 years most of my previous tutoring has been in person, however I am now online as well. The subjects I tutor are Physics, Maths, Astronomy, Chemistry and Biology. Physics, Maths and Astronomy I tutor all levels from ks1 to A level and occasionally the 1st year of university. I tutor Chemistry and Biology up to GCSE level. When tutoring I work best with individual students, but I am happy to tutor (for example) 2 siblings if they are working on the same subject. There is no fixed structure to the way I run my sessions as I have found everyone learns differently. I myself understand this very well as I have been diagnosed with dyslexia. One thing I have noticed, is that no matter how good the intentions of the student are, there will come a time where they simply cannot carry on concentrating though fatigue. Recognising this moment and allowing them to take a quick break or changing your teaching style is incredibly important. Trying to push through simply results in frustration for both the student and the tutor. I genuinely care about each and every one of my students succeeding, to this end I am more than happy to provide a summary of what we spoke about during our session as well as some questions to try if required. I also find it helpful for parents/guardians to have a general idea of the subjects covered as well as how their child is progressing so I provide a short report of each session designed to keep parents in the loop.
